WORLD / EUROPE TAEKWON-DO CHAMPION

Master Vladimir Grachev

8th Degree Black Belt - Taekwon-Do

Born in Kazakhstan in 1970, Master Grachev started training in martial arts when he was eight years old.“I was living in a dangerous country and I wanted to be strong and able to defend myself.”

Whilst his friends were playing around and partying, Master Grachev was training. It paid off. Master Grachev trained in Taekwon-Do, boxing, wrestling, self-defense and Hapki-Do. He has black belts in four different martial arts disciplines, Karate, Taekwon-Do, Hapki-Do and KungFu.

Master Grachev was invited to South Africa to help teach the South African national Taekwon-Do team new sparring (fighting) techniques, for the European championships. He fell in love with the Dolphin Coast area, and currently lives in Ballito, Kwa-Zulu Natal. “I really like Ballito. It’s close to the ocean and the people are very friendly.
